Zoey Coogan is your 2024 Florida All Breed Horse Show Series GRAND CHAMPION in both Small Fry Ranch/Trail and Youth Equitation Crossrails divisions, as well as the RESERVE CHAMPION in Youth Hunter Crossrails and Small Fry English!

Zoey was born on July 4, 2016, in Ormond Beach where she currently lives with her parents Kristen and Thomas Coogan. She loves being homeschooled and enjoys reading and swimming almost as much as riding. She also attends Sunrise School of Ormond, a Waldorf-style outdoor education, and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.

Zoey and Topline Training's WSR Merada's Dunnit "Dakota" started the year off strong until late summer when he was unfortunately put on stall rest. This forced Zoey to dig deep to find the courage and patience to continue her series with a couple of young horses. 

CSC Reyl Smart Queen “Fizzy” and WSR Smart Royal Blue “Rey Rey”, both 2020 foals out of WSR Smart Royal Mozzie, were most definitely a tough and sudden change for Zoey. She worked through the frustrations of having to teach while learning beside and on these less experienced horses. We are beyond proud of the hard work and resilience that the three of them showed to bring home the 2024 wins and a newfound confidence and strength in all of them.

Riding and showing horses has allowed Zoey’s compassionate heart to care for animals and put them first while training together. She has so much grit and determination to get things done independently and never gives up when trying new things or new horses. 

Your support in these last four years has made this all possible. As you can imagine horse life is a pricey one, but one we will continue to sacrifice and fundraise for. We value the influence of these experiences and trainers.
